Arrow Night Race 2
The last night race was so successful that we are having another one on Tuesday 29th May.
A good set of front and rear lights are required by all competitors, spectators are welcome to keep warm around a fire.

Arrow 2012 Winter Series Rd 1
Round one of the 2012 Winter Series kicked off on a slightly chilly but pleasant wintery evening with riders ready to navigate the new sections of track under lights while spectators gathered round a toasty warm fire.
Congratulations to Jo Wall (5th), Gary Lewis (4th), Max Kettle (3rd), Ash Harvey (2nd) and John Harvey racing away on his new bike taking out 1st.
Chris Hamilton completed the fastest lap 15mins 48sec.

Arrow Social Ride

April

On the 15th April the Goulborn Valley club are having a ride day in Shepparton and are happy to host our club. This is a great way to enjoy some different trails and meet new faces.

The GV club will have a shuttle bus and trailer for the gravity cravers as well as a BBQ and cold drinks at the bottom of the hill. Cost for the day is free for the XC and $30 for the shuttle bus (unlimited runs). Food and drinks via a gold coin donation. A day license will be available on the day for non MTBA members.

Meet up at the Epsom Market carpark (Howard St, Epsom) near the Safeway Petrol at 8:00 a.m. for an 8:15 departure. A quick stop for coffee in Shepparton on the way should see us at the hill by 10:00 a.m. Departure for home wil be around 2:00pm. For those that just haven’t had  enough there will be an opportunity to have a blast along the Broken River Trails on the way home.

Arrow Club Championships 2012 Results
On the 24th March the club held its 2012 championships race at Max Kettles 6km track. Riders were challenged with a number of jumps over the technical course and a good time was had by all.
Placings were contested by category, for the full picture head on over to the results page.
Many thanks to Max for the use of his track and volunteers who helped with setting and packing up.

Arrow Summer Series Race - 9 Results
The final round of the Summer Series was held on a mild evening and saw a good turn out of 32 riders competing for line honours, series points and teams points.
First across the line was Micheal Smyth finishing in 1st place followed by Mark Robertson in 2nd while Brodie Loam finished with a well earnt 3rd place.
Top of the leader for the series points was won by Tasman Nankervis (219 pts)  followed by Chris Hamilton (204 pts) and then Jason Lowndes (186 pts).
In the teams points, well you gotta be in it to win it with the dominating team RJG taking 1st with 500 pts, followed by Russell Parsons Builder with 454 pts and Bath Lane Bakery being pipped at the post for 3rd with 440pts.

Congratulations to everyone we hope you enjoyed this Tuesday nights series and we look forward to seeing you at the club champs on the 24th at Max Kettles.
